Built by Douglas Aircraft, the DC3 is an American fixed-wing propeller driven aircraft whose speed and range revolutionized air transport in the 1930's and 40's. Generally regarded as one of the most significant transport aircraft ever made, this model has a 38" wing span and is made from aluminum with riveted propellers.
This first-time, limited edition is the first ever hand-built model in aluminum. It is complete with etched metal sheets and rivets and extreme detail is all parts including windows, engine, propellers and landing gear.
